Adverse events were homogeneously assessed in Munich using a detailed questionnaire in 315 patients(1). The patients treated with the standard Ablatherm-HIFU device showed neither fistula nor rectal adverse event, a 1% stress incontinence occurrence rate (grade III), and an erectile function preserved in 78% of the cases.
